Artist Bio
Zach Hecker, a singer songwriter out of Kansas City, MO has always had a fascination with music. From a young age there was constantly a melody playing in his head leaving Zach singing or whistling whatever tune it may have been. At the age of nine he began playing the clarinet as well as learning how to play the drums. His passion for music took him through the music program in the Raymore-Peculiar School district where he learned the fundamentals of music while playing the clarinet from 6th - 8th grade. Followed by playing the tenor saxophone all four years of high school. After graduating high school Zach grew deeper in music by teaching himself how to play the piano. Where he began learning covers and started writing his own original music. With fun being the most important aspect of music, Zach began playing the drums for a band called Late Nite Cavalry as well as playing the keyboard and saxophone with the Clint Martinez Band where he also fronted his own songs. Zach is now pursuing his own solo career by working with Winter Records and Yellow Hammer Studios out of Nashville, TN. From his passion for music, Zach continues to push him self vocally as well as instrumentally to grow more as a well rounded artistic performer. Zach pulls inspiration from artists such as John Mayer, Ray Charles, Adam Levine, Ed Sheeran and many more that contribute to his music style which can be termed as soulful good vibes. He is a multi-instrumentalist focused on the fun and enjoyment of music and is able to share that energy with his listeners.
